A WORLD WITHOUT BOOKS...

- Guest Post by J.E. Taylor

A world without books would be an unimaginative bore.

I cannot fathom a world without books.  Even in prehistoric times, carvings on the wall told stories and eventually the stories passed from generation to generation were finally captured on paper.  While telling a ghost story around the fire is a tradition in some families, it cannot compare to reading a full-bodied and frightening story under the covers by flashlight – especially those books considered taboo.

Books stroke the imagination, fuel thoughts and dreams, and ignite passion like no other form of entertainment.
