If you could travel in a Time Machine would you go back to the past or into the future?
The future, I would love to have a peep at how much has changed.

What is one book everyone should read?
Great Expectations by Charles Dickens

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream?
Vanilla

If you could meet one person who has died who would you choose?
My father, he died when I was young and I felt robbed of my opportunity to know him.

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast?
Almond crunch by Post Cereals

Night owl.

M&Ms peanut.

Please tell us in one sentence only, why we should read your book.
If you've ever felt trodden upon and want to feel better, this is one character that can relate.

What inspired you to want to become a writer?
I was 13 and I had had my first article published in the local paper. Then I got another article and then another, and here I am.

Tell us your most rewarding experience since being published.
I've got to meet a lot of readers who've shared their experiences with me. For every person who said, my book has made them feel better or has touched them in some way, that's a feeling I cannot put into words.

If you could jump in to a book, and live in that world  .. which would it be?
Harry Potter, fascinating times.

What was your favorite book when you were a child?
The Faraway Tree by Enid Blyton

What's one piece of advice you would give aspiring authors?
Don't give up and keep writing. Nobody will know you're a writer if you don't write.

When you were little, what did you want to be when you "grew up"?
A pilot.

Who are your favorite authors of all time?
Charles Dicken, Enid Blyton and Salman Rushdie.

Can you see yourself in any of your characters?
Yes, I relate a lot to Anya. I was diagnosed with a Intracranial Hypertension too in 2003 and it has changed my life in many unexpected ways.

What's the best advice anyone has ever given you?
Pick up a pen and write.

How do you react to a bad review?
I thank the person for taking the time to review my book. Maybe they didn't like it because it wasn't their cup of tea.

If you could have a signed copy of any novel what would it be and why?
Salman Rushdie's Shalimar the Clown.

What do you do in your free time?
I read and I do patchwork.

What's your favorite season/weather?
Autumn.

What is your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate.

In your wildest dreams, which author would you love to co-author a book with?
Salman Rushdie
