Question:

What is your preferred reading format? Hardcover, eBooks, paperback etc?

Answer:

I am much comfortable with hardcovers and paperbacks.  But, I know the improvement in technology has made e-readers much easier and cheaper for authors as well as readers to use e-books; so I have changed too.  I still prefer actual paper in my hands, but I am okay with ebooks too.

So, what is your answer?

Follow me and comment below, so that I can follow you back!  Thanks for stopping by and happy weekend to everyone!

  1. Happy Friday! I prefer reading paperbacks. I love the feel of real pages in my hand. I read eBooks sometimes, though. They're always faster to finish and you can easily highlight the passages you like.

  2. eBooks have taken over my reading preference unless it is a photograph heavy publication, then I prefer hardbacks. eBooks work better for me due to ability to change print size, no dealing with overly heavy books, no issues with bad binding. And they stow better in my purse or pocket.

Prior to this, I liked paperbacks because they were easy to stow, but as the prices went up, the quality went down. Although I am a gentle reader, too many times the pages came out because the glue was cheap or missing.

  3. I prefer physical copies a lot more than e-books, though I get why many people love and prefer them. But I love the feeling of a book in my hands! I prefer paperbacks though, since they fit so much more comfortably and they don't make me feel awkward. I have to take extra care so they don't get damaged, though! Great post :D New follower :)

  5. I agree, I'm never comfortable with ebooks. Maybe because I don't have a ereader!
