This week’s musing asks…
Did you do any reading in lieu of watching the football game, yesterday, or were you foregoing reading to watch the game? If you read a book (or books) what did you choose?
My Answer:
I am not into football games..well, I accept that I have never tried to understand or appreciate it. So, that left me with the only option - reading!
I read "Promising Light" (The Protectors #1) by Emily Ann Ward yesterday and completed 30% of it. The book is engaging and about shape changers. The soft romance is a killer. I got this book for review purposes from the author.
So, what is your story about the weekend? :)

I have the book 'Promising Light' too, which I won at LibraryThing giveaway. I haven't started with the book yet but look forward to read your review. I'm a new follower too. :)

Great, I will post the review soon. Hope you enjoy this book too!
Deletewell, I did watch it..but only because the battery on my Nook died and I did not have a 'real' book with me.
ReplyDelete:-) yeah, it happens! I feel disappointed, when there is not even one book around me..
DeleteLooks like another book to add to my reading list. Thanks for the review and for stopping by my blog.
ReplyDeleteMy pleasure, Jen!
DeleteOoh I love killer romances, now you have me wanting to check this book out. Football was around me but I couldn't help reading through it lol. Here's my MM.

Me too, Boriquaz! Love romances..can't help it. :-)
DeleteWell, you too Kell!
ReplyDeleteGreat choice! I much prefer reading over watching football, but I definitely cheated by checking the scores. Promising Light sounds good, I'll have to check it out! :)

I don't understand football either, so opted to read. Later I asked hubby who won.
