Question:
Question:
This Sunday in the U.S. is Mother’s Day, in celebration, what are some of your favorite books with strong mother/child relationships?
Answer:
Hmm, I don't remember much of mother/child books that I read, but there are a lot of father/child books I remember. Okay, got it! I love Percy Jackson's relationship with his mom..I guess she is the toughest fiction mom that I remember, for now! And Percy's love for her, whatever his problems, is great!
And yeah, in Night Huntress series, Cat and her mother are so hilarious and annoying at the same time. I loved the pair.
So, what is your answer?

Great answers! Percy Jackson's relationship with his mom is great. I have to admit I didn't really like Cat's mom in the first book, but she does grow on you.
ReplyDeleteNew Follower. My #FF
My son read these books, but I haven't.
ReplyDeleteNow following via Networked Blogs! My "FF" post.
I haven't read Percy Jackson, but I loved Cat and Justine, an odd relationship, but Cat was very loyal to her mother. And her mother came around in later books. New Linky follower!

I think Percy and his mom are a great answer. I've still only read the first book in the series, I really need to read the rest. And I'll have to check out the Night Huntress series as well, I hadn't heard of that one.

You are the second person to say the Night Huntress series...I really need to check that one out.
ReplyDeleteHappy FF!
Nice answer! I haven't read either of the books (although planning to), but of course I've seen the movie of Percy Jackson. His love for her mother was really endearing.
