If you come across an unfamiliar word, do you stop and look it up right away?
My answer:
Nope, never actually. I gather my meaning with the remaining sentence and just go on. Most rarely, I use Kindle dictionary. :)
Now, tell me you answer..I am waiting to hear your answers..
Good answer, most people do this :) I'm somewhere in between looking for a word in the dictionary and keep on reading, there are times when i look and times i don't

I am a word nerd and seldom run into a word I don't know. I am happy when I do! The book I'm reading right now has a couple words I don't know and they are not in my dictionary. I hate when that happens! I remember one of the words and will have to look it up on line.
ReplyDeleteYou can't imagine my joy when I found a dictionary from 1943. It helps when I read historical fiction.
